Influenster Unboxing and Review: #VowVoxBox

Today when I checked my mail I had a little surprise waiting for me courtesy of Influenster! If you haven't heard of Influenster yet, it's a service which sends you free products so you can review them usually every month. They're always coming up with new boxes and programs- and it's so much fun!! I was really excited for this box mostly because of the Tiffany Blue color of the box- it's my power color I can't help it!!!! ;) So here I'll share what was in this Influenster box and my opinion on everything in it! Let's get started ladies!!

Here's an overview of the Vow VoxBox! SO many goodies!!!

Item #1: Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure in Barracuda

This whole box is wedding themed, so it's fitting that this nail polish is something blue! It's such a pretty color. I already knew I loved Sally Hansen, but I was really happy to see this light blue polish in my box. This polish is probably one of my favorites, the whole line goes on smooth and lasts for a long time!

Item #2: Olay Regenerist Luminous Tone Perfecting Cream
I probably wouldn't have bought this if I didn't get the box- I mean the price is $30.99 and this college girl would shy away from that high price tag; but I have to say I kind of fell in love with this product (get it- it's the wedding box... I'm funny) it really does what it says it will and perfects your tone.

Item #3: Pure Silk Moisturizing Shave Cream in Raspberry Mist
Nothing really special about this shave cream- it smells good and I like it a lot but nothing to set it apart from the other brands! It is fairly inexpensive though so that's really nice!

Item #4: EcoTools Pure Complexion Sponge

This was an interesting product. It starts out hard, and when it gets wet it softens. It reminds me of the Beauty Blender, because of it's teardrop shape- but that's not what this product does at all. This sponge is made for taking your makeup OFF not to put it on... So the box says to add your favorite facial cleanser and water promising to wash away dirt, oil, and makeup to leave skin glowing without over-drying or causing redness. It's fragrance-free, colorant-free, dermatologist tested, and gentle enough to be used morning and night. The sponge is also hand made with 100% natural ingredients. When I first took it out of the box, I was so confused because it literally felt and looked like styrofoam. I was starting to think it was overpriced at $5.99 and probably would have been annoyed if I had purchased it. So of course I ran to wash my face to test this little thing out. I admit it I was skeptical. But as I ran the water over it, the texture changed completely. It instantly started to get soft and sponge-like in my hand. I squeezed it a little and was just so amazed at what just happened. And I have to tell you, I was so impressed with this when I washed my face. So this product is shaped like a half a teardrop (it's flat on one side) and so it's easy to hold and the porous texture of this thing is amazing at getting everything out of your skin. I absolutely adore this thing and it will be a new part of my morning and night routine for a while now. Favorite thing in my box- hands down!! Have you tried this thing yet? Tell me what you think!! I'm excited to see how it holds up.

Item #5: Tide To Go
This girl sure loves her Tide To Go. This has been a product I've loved for as long as it's been out. There's absolutely nothing worse than getting a stain on something while you're out- especially if it was a wedding or event... An absolute essential for any girl's purse!

That's my Influenster box!!! I'm so happy with how this box turned out. It was my first VoxBox and definitely didn't disappoint! I'll be able to use everything, which is the best part!! Well except for the Riley and Grey wedding design website coupon, as I'm not getting married for a while yet! I'm only 20!! Anyway,  I love Influenster so so so much and you should definitely go sign up. Is there anything better than free samples? Definitely not! Did you get this box or another one? Let me know what you think in the comments below!! See you later seashells!!

Welcome to my blog, seashells!!

Hello!! Let me be the first to say thank you for checking out my little blog!! It means the world to me already. I hope you enjoy!

I am a sophomore at the College of Charleston majoring in Dance and Communications. I have so many big dreams and the ambition to go along with them. I have an intense passion for all things fashion, beauty, and entertainment (mainly dance). I hope to make a name for myself in these industries as well as a career. I'm dedicated to doing what I love so I'm here blogging to share my thoughts, opinions, and style with you, little seashells!

A few of my favorite things that make me happy are: Lilly Pulitzer, bows, monograms, the color navy, gold jewelry, completing little acts of kindness to make someone's day, catching up on my favorite shows (Greys, Revenge, SYTYCD, Once Upon a Time), teaching dance and seeing a child's face light up in awe, reading a good book, dancing, heart to hearts, girls nights, Disney, organizing and my agenda, and finally chasing after my dreams one step at a time.

As you can tell from my blog name, I'm a little southern belle and love the beach so of course A Southern Shell just sounded right to me!! I will be posting about fashion, beauty, my current obsessions, college and sorority life, plus whatever pops into my head!! If there's anything you'd like to see please let me know. And go ahead and introduce yourself in the comments!! I would love to get to know you!!

Xoxo,
Christine
